Shaylee's 5th Birthday

Shaylee had a 5th birthday bowling party. For most of the children, this was their first time bowling. They all had a great time & nobody got hurt.

I'm supposed to use this heavy ball? And roll it where? Who thought up this game?

Good job son! He didn't pick up the spare, but he did get a few pins.

Emily didn't get to roll the ball, but she had a great time seeing everybody and watching her big brother trying to knock down the pins with the ball.
After bowling there must be video games. Typical male.

Living Life

My little chef! He loves to help me cook. We were making breaded zucchini. He actually took a bite. I almost fell over. (please don't worry, I know you're looking at the knives in the picture, he knows hands off & mom is always right there watching)

8 weeks old

Happy smile for Emily at 8 weeks old. What a doll and a happy baby, especially after a nap.

Who is she imitating?

Have you seen Austin Powers? She did this pose on her own while she was sleeping.

Lori's Baby Shower

Hayden's Nina, Lori, is expecting her 2nd baby.
Little Addison Nicole is due in late October. We can't wait to meet her!
It was a great shower and Hayden enjoyed playing with all the other kids, thanks to Kacey and her friends.

What's Happening at 6 weeks?

Emily has found her hand and somethings her finger to suck on. She learned that she can cough. This scared Mommy, 'cause she thought Emily was sick. She isn't, just realizing she can make a new sound.

Hayden has decided to suck his thumb when he's really upset and super tired. UGH. So far this has only happened once and we don't want it to become a habit. We'll be watching this one.

New Friend

Emily's new friend, Paulina. She was born on Emily's actual due date. We slept while Mommy and her friends from work hung out at Amalia's house. The final get together before school starts.

First Zoo Trip

This was Emily's first trip to the zoo. It was the best weather we'd had all summer. It was in the 80's. you can see by the expression on her face that she was just so thrilled to be there.

Hayden loved watching all the different kids of monkeys in the exhibit.
